I want to go into Paralegal studies but my local community college is NOT ABA approved. I called and ask and they said that they “meet” the requirements the only thing is that it’s costly and most Texas Community colleges don’t seek approval since it’s non profit or something.. If you are a paralegal what advice would you give?

If they are not ABA approved, your degree will not be accepted by most law firms, making it much harder to get a job.

first, look around. In my community college they turn out about 30 paralegals each semester but there is a total of 6 paralegal jobs within 100 miles of the school. No one has been hired in one of those jobs in years. Most paralegal schools are competely useless.
