We girls have am check list we go off of based on what our minds tell us we want in a guy. But in reality we go off of what our heart tells us we want. For example we may say we want a handsome guy but we would wind up falling for an unattractive guy who sweeps us off our feet and we fall madly in love with them. We simply can’t help it. our minds and heart are not on the same page.

I suppose it has something to do with their menstrual cycle
During the time before the period, they want a bad boy character – typically masculine
The time after the period, they want a gentleman.
Girls also have this tendency to follow group reforms and stick to what everybody wants in order to win their favour and sustain their social status. i.e. they might not actually want what everyone believes they want.
Something that they can’t have doesn’t mean it’s valuable or it’s something they would go after. e.g. not all women can have Ol’ McDonald’s farm, but it doesn’t mean they would go after it. The thing that they can’t have must mean something positive and is valuable to them.
Bad boys are always in demand, but generally, it’s the gentleman they want most of the time. However, bad boys are also the ones they would mate as opposed to the gentleman, given the choice. Btw, ‘bad boys’ don’t need to be bad to be attractive.
