Talking in a loud, booming voice is a superficial way to appear confident, self-assured and secure. Personally, I ignore anyone who talks too loudly because those who know they are self-possessed, secure and confident don’t need for everyone to hear their thoughts spoken outloud.

Answer by Stephanie K

They think it makes them sound authoritative and really they sound like idiots. Maybe they are trying to make up for their unusually small unit.

Only in America where they all talk loud, regardless of where they are.

Answer by Lynzeigh

Because they want to be heard bragging about their job & appear superior to others in the hope that they make others around them feel envious &

jealous of their position, they have their head up their @sses if they really believe this is true!

Answer by

my opinion is that they want other people to hear them, my guess is that it makes them feel important and higher in society. Either that or they enkoy talking loud. lol
