How to narrow the scope of my research paper (for plastic surgery)?

Real question caused by lovesgreys6789: How can I narrow down my research paper (about plastic surgery)?

I had a first “meeting” with my teacher to present sources I found and to tell him how we’re trying to narrow down our paper. I wanted to focus on the negative side of plastic surgery, like all of the bad side affects and results it produces. But he told me that everybody assumes that so he wants me to approach the paper in a different way. What other way can I write my paper? What would be a good thesis?? Thank you!!!!!!

Hmm, maybe you can write about plastic surgery in hollywood and how many people try and to live up to that fake and unrealistic image of beauty. You know, the way young girls do but what they don’t always know that celebrities almost always have some type of work done.

You can focus on reasons why people go in for plastic surgery and analyse the statistics and comment on the same. I think that would be pretty interesting. Good Luck!

Focus on these three (the last constitutes receipients of gastro bipass surgery–subsequent plastic surgery is needed for a body lift to remove excess skin).
